Mister Johnson Pierce Brosnan, Edward Woodward, Maynard Eziashi. In 1923 British Colonial Nigeria, Mister Johnson is an oddity -- an educated black man who doesn't really fit in with the natives or the British. He works for the local British magistrate, and considers himself English, though he has never been to England. He pretends to be something he isn't and has to face himself and a deadly outcome.  Brosnan is splendid as the stiff upper lip officer who must carry out the sentence. 1990 Color 97 Minutes.   

The Winter Stallion Sian Maclean, Daniel J. Travanti. Filmed against the exquisite vistas of the Welsh countryside, Gwen Davies is a sixteen year-old orphan girl who lives on her grandfather's beautiful farm. Her happy life is suddenly shattered when her beloved grandfather is thrown from a horse and killed. Gwen must confront the loss of her family's farm and her beloved horse, the great stallion Mabon. She's left to handle the family farm and all the horses on it until her uncle enters the picture, wanting to sell the property to a greedy land developer. One possible way to keep the farm is for Gwen to enter her beloved black stallion Mabon (named for a Pagan holiday) in the Christmas Costume Race. The climatic scene showing Gwen as an angel riding against Father Christmas and an elf, among others, is certainly one of the more unique racing scenes ever in the movies Also know as The Christmas Stallion 2002 Color 94 minutes

Out Of the Wilderness.  Amy Wiegert, David Carradine. The story of an adventurous girl's friendship with a raven is the focus of this heartwarming family film. Hospitalized after saving the bird from certain death in the Alaskan wilderness, young Melissa learns that her avian pal has been declared a public nuisance. With the help of her family and an animal rights activist, Melissa embarks on a legal battle to keep her beloved pet.  2001 color 98 minutes

Argon Quest, The Amy Miller, Tim Gosley, Shannon Lynch. Siblings Tracy and Wayne find a mysterious artifact that teleports them to Blizzard Island, a magical place full of strange creatures. They discover that the island is slowly dying, and the only way to save it is by finding and waking up the giant Argon. However, the evil witch Sidney won't have any of that. 1990 Color 90 minutes

Angel On Abbey Street Christopher Michael Moore, Katelin Petersen, Dick Van Patten.   Needing to raise some quick cash, a homeless panhandler claims to be the Tooth Fairy in order to con neighborhood kids out of their money. Quickly, he encounters a precocious young girl who doesn't believe him. But when he discovers that she also doubts anything that requires the suspension of disbelief, he becomes determined to change her worldview by proving to her that magic is real. Dog Gone  Jack Wagner, Daphne Zuniga. Kyle is a policeman. His partner is Hunter- a trustworthy, brave, smart and fun DOG! During a stakeout to capture a notorious criminal "Biggs", Hunter is shot and despite Kyle's efforts, the dog is unable to recover. Hunter is gone forever- or is he? Soon after, Kyle notices strange things happening at his house. Sensing that it is Hunter trying to communicate with him from beyond, Kyle visits a medium named Wanda who performs a séance with Kyle and Wanda's son Howie. During the séance Howie begins scratching and sniffing around and acting like Hunter! Now that Hunter has taken over Howie's body, Kyle has his partner back and uses the help of Hunter the dog in a human's body to find and capture "Biggs" once and for all. 1997 Color 91 minutes

Shinebone Alley Carol Channing, Eddie Bracken, Alan Reed (Fred Flintstone) John Carradine. Animated Musical Fantasy written by Mel Brooks, which is a tribute to a great writer, Don Marquis, and an even greater cartoonist, George Herriman. A newspaperman jumps in the river to drown himself. He reappears as a cockroach, who finds he can still type by jumping up and down on the keys of a typewriter. He is in love with Mehitabel, the office cat. He writes poetry to her, and tries to keep her on the straight and narrow. Big Bill the Alley tom cat (Fred Flintstone voice Alan Reed) is Mehit's heart-throb, and Archy's nemesis. She has kittens, and Archy declares war in a George Herriman sequence. 1971 Color Animation 85 minutes

The Hobbit John Huston. Animated Fantasy. Hobbits are simple folk. Small people with hairy feet, they are not cut out for adventure and prefer to laze about and eat. A particular hobbit, Bilbo Baggins, is taken by surprise one morning when the mighty wizard Gandalf  knocks at his door. Soon Bilbo finds himself inducted into a party of dwarves bent on reclaiming their mountain from the deadly fire-breathing dragon, Smaug. Insisting that the timid Bilbo is a master thief, Gandalf insures the danger-loving dwarves that the quest will include many mishaps and perilous encounters with goblins, trolls, and dwarf-eating spiders. Among other things that the reluctant Bilbo discovers on this amazing journey is an enchanted ring that turns its wearer invisible, and soon the hobbit transforms from a master bumbler into a master burglar. Poco The Little Lost Dog   Chill Wills, Clint Ritchie, Sherry Bain, IJohn Steadman. t looks like the end of the line for Poco and Kim when they are separated following a car accident. Poco's relentless search takes him through the desert. Bravely facing the odds, Poco encounters many dangers, and makes some new friends. The tag line for the film was ... "A little dog with a big heart can make it - with a little help from her friends." 1977 Color 88 minutes.  

A Place To Grow Gary Morris, John Beck, Tracy Kristofferson, Niki Dunaway. Here is an excellent "farm family" movie centered around the life & ideas of a 10 yr. old girl. She learns the values of her parents who believe in caring for the land & not destroying it with some of the more modern farming methods. Another man who enters her life becomes very important to her. A surprise ending also gives an element of suspense to this great heart-warming film. Color  1998 96 minutes.

Horse Crazy Scott Sunbiono, Dallin Christtenson, Marvin Paine. Three kids, who hope to capture their own wild mustang, outsmart a ring of horse thieves and return a prize stallion to its owner. 2001 Color 82 Minutes
